Michael brings to Pinnacle his enthusiasm for helping company’s brands and people grow. He is passionate about ideas, sharing them, hearing about them from others and synthesizing them into new ones. Most recently, Michael was the CEO/President of Pearson’s Candy Company, an iconic, private-equity owned, consumer packaged goods company. Before that, he was Chief Marketing Officer of another iconic brand, Berkshire Hathaway’s International Dairy Queen, a leading restaurant company in the QSR space. Prior to Dairy Queen, Michael held the top marketing post in a variety of other companies like Jamba Juice, Inc., Baskin Robbins, USA, Kook Koo Roo, Inc. and Homestore.com (formerly Realtor.com). Michael began his career at Bain & Co. and Nestle Foods, USA.
Michael holds a BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College and an MBA, from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He currently serves on three non-profit boards: Ziggy's Art Bus; Live More Screen Less; and the Breck School Parent Association. He is also a first-time author in the process of publishing a children’s book “The Legend of Jet the Gerbil” due out in the fall of 2020.
