An engaging and energetic facilitator, and an unabashed instructional-design geek, Terri C. is on a mission to change the way people think about training.
“Workplace learning needs to have an identifiable impact on business performance,” she says. "We're not about merely providing training events; we are about equipping people for the decisions they make and actions they take on the job. That shift in focus may seem small, but it opens up a much wider range of tools, tactics and strategies. And emphasizing real-world performance also requires a much savvier approach to how we measure success and how it shows up on a balance sheet.”
Terri’s graduate coursework in marketing was at the business school of the University of Rennes, France, where she taught business English. She has remained active in professional associations throughout her more than two decades in workplace learning, including serving as president of the second-largest, most active chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in the country.
